IDK this isn't a $25 cooler to start more a $20. Having to work a $10 rebate is hefty for this. That said, a nice upgrade over eithers OEM Box cooler. Well at least until AMD's new Wraith stock cooler becomes prevalent, but their a boat-load of Intel build that would still benefit.
It wasn't this model, but the last Zalman I used was pretty difficult to install.
Yea, looking at their mount for the Intel, you snap a 4 point ring and in clips on like most AMD coolers which can be tricky if not done while the Mobo is out. This ones a little trickier as they don't have a normal AMD over-center clamp, but you loosen (back-out) the two screws till like one thread. Hook the clips then turn each screw alternating back and forth like a half turn. It helps to have a third hand to hold it down/in place, but it can be done.
Anything beats Intel's old plastic push pin setup... Easy to install but I've had heatsinks dangling perilously over video cards due to those getting brittle and snapping the ends off.
Fortunately the CPU down-throttled and whole system shut off in one case, to make me aware of the problem before any permanent damage to CPU and before the other pins broke off and it took out the video card.

Thank you!
