Looks like a waste of money. Need hvac work or damper adjustment instead. Or put a piece of cardboard in the duct to direct flow where you want it

I actually think these are great.. I have a 3 of these from home depot (~$50) to add some bias to the rooms that i'm usually in. This leaves some rooms a bit colder, but those are the rooms that i've decided. These along with a smart outlet allows for HVAC zone'ing on the cheap..
