    Article came out before 2.0a High Dynamic Range metadata was considered being transmitted. Not a big change in color contrast if the HDMI cable doesn't transmit darks to be darker and whites that can be whiter. Its about maxing out the advantages if you have it.

    The need for 18mbps HDMI cables for 4k tv's to achieve 60 frames per second. Standard 10mbps HDMI cable (24 frames per second) will do and you might not see the frame rate difference if your not gaming or watching sports.

    ^ IMO most people can see the difference between 24FPS and 60 on *any* content with motion.
