Well it isn't a super deal at this point, though being a Top Shelf XXX OC it's not the worst. It's not like many Uber custom 970's getting to this price. That said I think I'd wait to see what Polaris 10 will bring. Kind of sensing something 390X-Nano performance for 250'ish. But don't hold me to that... it's hard to read the tea leaves.
This and 970's should work down to like $230-250 soon enough. The thing is I don't see there's that much in the AMD's channel in regards to... 380X, 390's, 390X, or even the FuryX, AMD has their product channel in order. I see AMD letting the Nano and AIB Fury go down to under $450, but I don't believe there's much in the channel in those so not really needing to deal.
Consider this when the reference Nvidia 970 is $280 *No Rebate* at Best Buy, it tells me lesser and many supposed custom 970's should be down or below $250 after say $20 rebates. There's a MSI LE Gaming (basically a the Red cooler on a chip that didn't make ASIC) and that's $260 -AR$30 and that's not any deal working that much in a rebate!
