Red Card is not really "free". You must get either their debit or credit card.

I don't know anyone who has used the PlayStation 4 or the XBox One. I do know generally Sony has had a better roll-out, selling more units since they both were released late last year. It was obvious Microsoft hurt their sales by rolling out the XBox One with the Kinect sensor therefore they forced people to spend an extra $100 more whether they wanted the Kinect sensor or not. This obviously had something to do with their relatively poor sales compared to the PlayStation 4. Microsoft now has corrected this situation giving consumers the choice to buy the console with or without the Kinect sensor. But beyond that issue does anybody have any objective thoughts and experience between the two consoles now essentially one year after release? I thought this might be a good forum to ask that question to avoid the "fanboy" biases that permeate the whole gaming community. Any thoughts? Also is the Kinect sensor worth the money?

If this doesn't boost their mediocre sales nothing will.

#4 as I have said before if you are, like me, waiting for the Sony virtual reality headset then the PS4 has to be your choice. I have looked at visual comparisons for the games I am interested in and so far the PS4 has the edge. Also wanting to play the games only available for one of the consoles helps make this decission.
