The new xboxone S actually comes out next week August 2, 2016. Retailers have been cutting current XboxOne price, had similar bundle for $209 other day (saw thru Ben's!). At this rate will be $199 or less for Christmas and I may actually pick one up (don't need newer s version as I don't plan on getting 4k tv anytime soon).
my guess is that these old boxes won't be around for Christmas. A lot of the stock microsoft store had is already gone. You still may find old refurbished ones but right now these deals are cheaper/better than buying refurbished. So taking your chances if you wait.
and others my start having deals when the new S comes out, if they have a lot of stock left in the old box... but so far haven't seen any deals from the likes of those stores at all.
