And that makes them different how? Still a very influential band that gets more air play than most even though they they haven't existed as a band since John Bonham's death in 1980. In ten years people won't even remember the chart toppers of today. The Stones are the only other band from that era that is still going although some would say they should have hung it up a while ago. Old men can like rock but they are kind sad as rockers, its a young mans game. When you have to clean up to keep going its over.

Golden Earring still performing and recording. Formed in '61, year before the Stones. And there should be a mandatory retirement age for rockers. At least ban them from reality shows or force them to play Vegas clubs only.

I heard Spinal Tap is still going, and they are THE MOST AWESOME BAND IN THE WORLD!!! Except for that one time I saw one of their Stonehenge Tour shows. That was a little lame.
