I got this same model 2+ years ago for ~$225 on Black Friday. It's really been a great budget TV because for it's use - size matters. Picture quality isn't on par with Samsung, but I think for a substantially lesser price you're getting only slightly diminished quality from top brands. I wholeheartedly recommend this TV with two caveats:
1) Remote sucks. Volume and Channel are flip-flopped (non-traditional). If you accidentally hit the channel button while in any of the HDMI's, (could just be my tv,) you will have to take the TV through "first time" setup options. Not a huge deal, but it was frustrating when I first started using it.
2) Poor sound quality - But that's to be expected on most TV's - You'll need to invest in a sound system.
