Actually, I bought a similar Westinghouse 40 inch about five years ago on BF from
Newegg
for about $450. Still a perfectly good TV.
A warranty on this $180 TV would be a ridiculous waste of dinero.

I had a 32 inch Westinghouse and it broke 11 months into the 12 month warranty and I shipped it to them for repair (they sent me a free shipping label). After the repair it has lasted over 3 years so far and works perfectly.
