Nice to have, for travel, if you have a counter top model at home. But be aware of a few things: 1. The reservoir is small. Meaning, you'll probably need to stop, to refill it, before you're finished. 2. They're somewhat heavy (especially once you put batteries in it), for a carry-on bag. And they're bulky, too. 3. They eat batteries, like nobody's business. Unless you already have some nice rechargeable batteries and charger, you might as well include the cost of those in with the cost of this thing. Otherwise, expect a set of 4 alkaline batteries to last you MAYBE 3 uses.
