We just put up the long awaited Walmart ad scan, and let's just say it's...puzzling. Despite waiting for all the other big box retailers to release their ads, Walmart often ties, or in more cases, comes up short when it comes to all the popular items this season. There's only a handful of products that are super-competitive.

While they are promising to have more items in stock for longer periods of time this year, the prices seem to be suffering as a result. For example, they'll have:

  • Guitar Hero Live for $69 (Target will have it for $59)
  • Xbox One 500GB Gears of War Bundle + $30 GC for $299 (Target will have it for the same price + a $60 GC)
  • Beats Pill 2.0 Speaker for $150 (Target will have it for $140)
  • Audi R8 Ride-on 6V Car for $99 (Target will have it for $85)
  • Disney Infinity 3.0 Starter Set for $37 (Target will have it for $35)
  • iPad Air 2 Gold for $399 (Target will offer a $150 GC with any iPad Air 2 purchase at $499)
  • iPod Touch 16GB for $165 (Target will have 20% off on all iPod Touches, $160 for the 16GB)

  • On the slightly less lame side, they'll have:

  • 40" HDTV (brand and specs unknown) for $149 (Compared to Best Buy's $159 40" Insignia that was available early this week.)
  • Splatoon (Wii U) for $25
  • Fitbit Flex for $59 (That's $1 less then recent price history)
  • 1st Generation Google Chromecast for $20 (ties the lowest we've seen)
  • Madden 16 (Xbox One) for $27 (Versus $30 at Best Buy)
  • TCL Roku 32" Smart HDTV for $125
  • Playstation 4 Nathan Drake Uncharted Bundle for $299 (Target currently has it for $298; Best Buy will have it for $300 on Black Friday)
  • Wii U Super Smash Bros/Splatoon Bundle for $249 (beats Target's Black Friday price by $1)
  • Cheap small appliances like a 5-Quart Crock-Pot Stainless Slow Cooker for $9.97
  • Goodyear Tires from $44 to $119 each (up to $35 off each)
  • Wooden Train Table w/ Train Set for $37
  • Kids' Character Pajamas for $4.75

  • As for anything breaking the hotness meter, they'll have:

  • Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Wi-Fi Router for $150 (That's $50 less than recent price history.)
  • Beats Studio Headphones for $169 (That's $30 less than recent price history.)
  • LG's 55UF6450 4K 55-inch HDTV for $698 (That's $100 less than the Samsung 55-inch 4K in Target's ad.)
  • TCL's 55FS3750 55-inch 1080p Roku HDTV for $348 (That's roughly $100 less than the price drops on the 3700 model)

  • We're wondering if they will again do a preemptive price-matching sale the week before Black Friday, because the ad isn't as captivating as 2014's deals.

Watch our Black Friday hub for the latest Black Friday store ads as they appear! We have over 60 early ad scans and counting.

IDK for sure what the install. charges for tires are at WM, but they seem to have some decent prices on tires in their ad for the Turkey Day weekend.

Is the $149 TV going to be like previous years where you're guaranteed one if you get there before time x? When they do this and run out of supplies you get a slip that will get you your TV by Christmas, although the brand most likely won't be the same from my experience (better brands actually, get the slip!)

I think I'll spend the extra $1 on the

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 already $29? I'll take it. Wonder if others will price match or it'll be available online...

The one thing I approve of is the brightly colored luggage. It's definitely easier to spot on a carousel or through the window of your plane as you watch the handlers kick it around.
