This is a bluetooth speakerphone that you pair with a phone that can use a BT headset. DECT has nothing to do with it - that's a much longer-distance protocol used by portable phones.
^ You're half right. This can bluetooth pair with phones, tablets, etc, but it can also pair with select VTech & AT&T (also made by Vtech) DECT 6.0 landline phones, does have the DECT feature.
I mean the DECT 6 phones that don't even have bluetooth, as some do and others don't.

I can't decipher VTech's naming system but the above list may not be exhaustive either, and while it does list several AT&T models, they all seem newer than an AT&T DECT 6.0 model I have, so either they didn't bother testing or just listing older designs, or something changed to keep them from being compatible.
