Maybe a dumb question, but what do y'all do with those Dell gift cards? This is very tempting, but I don't need a $300 gc....

You can often sell them on
    ebay
for around 90% before fees. Also can items to resell with minimal loss.

don't count on getting the gc. I bought the sharp tv that was supposed to come with a 100 gc recently. never came. when I called they said there was never a gc deal for it. I know for a fact that it showed it when I added it to my cart. I argued and said I will just send the tv back then because it had free returns, but I was told that I would have to pay restocking fees since it was a tv - which is not free then... bunch of bs!

The rates I've seen were closer to 70% of face value.

I always make a screenshot of the cart showing the add-on item whenever a purchase has something like that bundled, then you also have proof to dispute the charge with your CC company if they try to make you pay for return shipping or a restock fee. Legally, no matter what they try to claim, they can't bait and switch you like that. Then again they may blacklist your account.

    this is a great Deal...!
Personally I did not have issues with Dell's GC. They came in to my email at respectable time; couple days. The only thing I didn't like was the short-ish time they give you to spend the GC.
I've used the $200 GC from previous purchase to buy the new Dell 8" Venue Tablet, a very good tablet; only paid for tax after GC.
