speaking as someone who just failed the vision test at the dmv, I can say these are great if you have terrible vision. i've got a 34" curved dell thats 3440 x 1440 and I can't enjoy it because I still have to have my head to close to it to see the whole thing.
I kind-of want one, but don't want to be looking through a screen door...
Gaming without need for a higher performing video card to handle a higher res., or being able to move the monitor back further away on a desk to regain desk space, though doing that you may not find the premium price for a curved screen worthwhile.
