I bought one of these about 2 years ago during Christmas for $10 and I love it. I use it when I'm working on my lawn sprinkler system. I can be outside making adjustments to the sprinkler heads and turn on the zone I'm working on without having to go back and forth into the garage to turn it on and off. It works perfectly. The range is excellent and walls are no problem. It has never has been affected by any other device.

It's not worth the drive for me, but the Medford, Or store has it for $2.49. Looks like pricing is regional.

Shows $2.49 around Atlanta but all stores sold out

Worth the $7.49 if you need it. Have had one a couple years for help changing out water in Aquarium tanks(plugged powerhead in unit for remote on/off)
