Unless you're hung up on how your cookware looks -- in which case go buy Mauviel and don't ever use it, this is the way to buy All Clad. I've got about a dozen pieces that are all seconds (Marshals, Home Goods, etc) and every one performs flawlessly.

I bought one of these last time. Honestly I couldn't see any scratch or dents on it.

Don't get hung up on the price, these are generational quality pieces. They'll outlive us all.

Yes it's a lifetime use item but it seems really stingy of them to price them in this range and still put in the fine print
A $20 restock fee will apply per order for any retunrs.

I could understand that if it is returned in a condition that it's not resell-able as perfect/new stock, but not when it's already a factory second.

What I'm hung up on is spending $100 for a frink'en frying pan and calling it a bargain...

If you really do cook ZZ and enjoy doing a lot of different kinds of food, you will know the difference between the variety of even frying pans. This was my 3rd type of the same size frying pan and I use them in completely different situations with really different result. If one kind of pan works for you then there is no real reason to buy this.
