Interesting add-on. An iPhone 6 has a jump of $100 to go from 64GB to 128GB. Even at 's regular price, $80, this is 2X the storage for a bit less money. If Apple keeps the lightening connector, and you have a number of people in your house with a phone and a couple iPads, one of these might just do the trick for the times your memory is getting full.
Like anything, it depends on the use case. But I imagine a trip will have you wanting extra videos, or taking extra pix on the phone. A great way to just offload the extra GB.
The JumpDrive sold out fast. Right after it sold out, updated the price to $80 and showed it would be backordered. Now it's up to $100. Now I'm sorry I didn't grab one. Snooze/lose I suppose.
