Great if you have a projector, I suppose, or your A/V gear is remotely-located in a closet - and some distance from the TV. Otherwise, the potential applications for this length of cable seem limited.
My go to place for cables over the years, HDMI or otherwise, has always been Monoprice. The quality and value of their gear is hard to beat, and seldom have I ever purchased anything there that I'd consider sub-par. My two cents...
Totally agree about Monoprice. I picked one of these up so I can have a cable hooked to my tv in the bedroom and then plug it into my laptop if I am layed up/bed ridden. plus for $3, I just couldnt pass it up :)
This is a great price. And I have an application for such a length of cable, to run from my stereo stack in the living room to the basement network distribution point where I can run HDMI over Cat-5 (dual for 3D). But for such an application, I'm going to buy a cable from Monoprice before I seal up the walls. Last time I bought one of their Redmere cables. I think that was 30 or 50'.
