Thats the route I went also, after 20 some years of using TT went with H & R Block last year due to TT trying to force some of there deluxe customers to use premium, even though TT added schedule back to there deluxe version this year I will stick with H & R as there software was just as good as TT......
Have you seen the TV add for the TT cellphone app? "Taxes are easy, just answer the questions. 'Did you buy a house this year. Just answer no'". Seriously, you would have to answer 10,000 questions to do all but the simplest taxes
That move last year by TT was probably the thing to happen to H&R. I was a longtime TT user until last year when they removed the schedules forcing the higher product. H&R worked fine. Maybe not as polished, but I'm sticking with H&R.
