Great Drive replaced my Seagate (no more Seagate for me) ... relatively fast and very good for day-to-day computing.

And, for what it's worth, the Amex deal will get you a $25 credit for spending $200. So, $210 (for 3 drives) less the $25 cash credit on Amex (automatic, no forms, just 'register the card) and that's 3 drives for $185, $61.67 for 3TB, a new low.

Yeah, such tempting good deals for Seagate around but after high failure rates with them 10 years ago I won't buy them

Any idea how noisy these drives are? I want to replace some noisy 2TB drives with some quiet ones.

Same here. My Seagate HDD died. They sent me a replacement (refurbed) which also died.
I have better experience with WD and Toshiba drives.
