I'm using 6 Toshiba drives with no issues so far. Have two 2tb drives in a Seagate Nas that is working well. Definitely recommend retail over oem

For posterity's sake: these are kind of loud and kind of hot. I put three of them in a QNAP NAS, idle temps are 41,42,38 C, seeks make a noticeable 'chunk'-ing noise, and during disk intensive operations (writes?) it's quite a racket. I bought them 11 days ago and am debating whether or not to return them to
Amazon
in order to replace them with WD Reds, even 3TB ones..
