It appears that this is the original (no longer copyrighted) version by Strunk. The better one is by Strunk and White. One that I liked even better is The Technique of Clear Writing (revised edition) by Robert Gunning.

Shouldn't kids today actually learn how to be literate first?? It's shocking, how functionally illiterate many high school graduates are, these days!
