You have not heard this album, until you hear it in SACD

Great album, one of my favorites.
Would like a lossless edition. Guess I'll have to pull my original CD.
Google Play is a P.I.T.A., obviously Google has Apple-envy.

F'ing great album!! Have hearing loss due to this album. You need to crank it up when listening to catch all the subtle sounds.

Saying it has "excellent
Amazon
reviews" is kind of funny. Like saying Mozart gets five stars on
Amazon
.
Youngsters, understand this album isn't good, it's essential.

The best was went up to Mount Palomar in CA to watch a meteor shower back in like 1982-83. We pack up a buddy's home system; receiver, record player, and like 6 big old JBL/Kenwood speakers. We brought like 4-5 construction grade cords from generator and set that system up on the top of a hill, and like 25 close friends.

It doesn't get or sound any better, and I went to the "The Wall" tour in LA 1980.

Too bad the master tapes are wearing. The 2011 remaster lacks quite a bit of high frequency info. The Harvest CD version is probably the best, all around, digital version out there. Including SACD.
