^ People do put antennas in the attic with improved reception from the greater height, but not as good as higher still on the roof above an attic. I'd try it in an attic and leave it there for less weathering if it works acceptably.
Here, I already receive redundant channels with the same content so better reception would be pointless.
I have this, works great, been outside about a year and does fine...I get channels without trouble and can even pick up stations 40+ miles from the backside...I don't use the rotator, so wasn't a big deal for me, but it did work when I installed it. I have the amp split to my basement and upstairs TVs so I can get signal in the basement as well. I made a mount for it using 3/4" PVC pipe, not the best looking, but does the job and can be painted, plus I had all the parts, so made it free.
