Best value ever. If you thought about playing guitar or getting another one, buy this now. I had a very similar Takamine G series for 12 years. I loved it but I mistreated it. I replaced it with a Takamine E series. With the solid cedar top and sound, this is the best value you could ever get for a guitar. Buy this, and LOVE playing guitar. It is soooo easy to play and sound amazing. I would have bought this guitar for this value if I didn't have my 1000 dollar Takamine...with a solid cedar top.
A couple of things turn me off about this. It's a "restock," meaning returned? And "Other great features include a synthetic bone nut and bridge saddle."
"Synthetic?" You mean, plastic? And "solid cedar top" ... but laminated back and sides, no doubt.
I know, I know ... I'm sure this is a great beginner's guitar. And if I had a kid who wanted to learn, I'd get this for him/her. Except for that lack of pickguard ... Maybe I'd better quit while I'm ahead.
