I had three of those T-Mobile routers (refurbished and new) and all work great. With enough patience firmware can be converted to something more manageable. I had issues with 5GHz radio running DD-WRT all of those, but Tomato firmware worked great, stable for months without rebooting, and has the built in scripts to cut the ads and many other features.
I am thinking of getting one as a backup to my RT-N66U. I'm debating if this is worth it or get a netgear nighthawk.

Save your money and don't fall for the multi-hundred dollar routers out there. This is 95% of the performance for 25% of the price.
Thank you!
