Famous surfer and surfboard shaper Robert August doesn't make these skateboards. He endorsed them... as in the manufacturer of these skateboards, Surf One, pays him so they can slap his name on the skateboards. Skateboards and surfboards are completely different materials and technologies and never made in the same factory. So be wary of who actually makes them.
