Men's dress shoes are one of those consumer items where you do indeed get what you pay for. The last sentence of this post - "These won't last very long!" - is actually indicative of the quality of these shoes.
Pay some good money, buy some fine men's dress shoes. A general rule is that if they cannot be resoled, then they're not worth owning and wearing.
^ Maybe so but what about cash strapped youngsters who don't dress up much except for funerals and are too young to know as many/older people so funerals are fewer and further between?
