Saw the movie, no big deal. Turns out Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father.

Saw it Friday and loved it. The real shocker for me was when they revealed that Jar Jar Binks was really Jabba the Hut's niece.

saw the movie and it sucks. stormtrooper fighting a jedi... what an insult to fan's intelligence. the jedi can simply pull the lightsaber from the guy's hand with his mind.

I was a huge fan, but a bit confused , by the Deadpool cameo. Having him shat out of Jabba the Huts backside will only **** off the D.Poolers who were hoping to watch his origin in his own movie. Crazy.

The movie was fine till the end when mark hamill woke up in bed with molly ringwald and figured out the whole thing was just a dream sequence.

Sorry to bust your bubble there bub, but there is absolutely NO evidence that Finn is Force sensitive. He ONLY just used the lightsaber.

I think that was his point, the Jedi could have just pulled the lightsaber from the stormtroopers hands by using the force. (trying not to use spoilers).

When you see a baton gun that can block the light saber in this movie, you will lose all your Jedi power fantasy. The force is not that strong after all.

You also wonder why they would need such equipment if all the Jedi were gone. Or do they use a Jedi Alert(tm)?

I had a similar conclusion. It is only useful against a non-Jedi using a lightsaber. A real Jedi could just force-pull the weapon out of the Stormtrooper's hands.

We all saw this movie in 1977. It was almost a scene for scene remake, only hanging character skins and planet names.

I like the part where Yoda makes a cameo appearance and starts singing "Not easy it is...being green"
