Seems like assembly is difficult and further complicated by the unnecessary height adjustment feature. If your kid can't shoot at a 10 foot hoop, then get a far cheaper version.

Although the assembly might be hard, it's only a one time assembly. This is a great basketball court for your front yard or backyard

I have assembled 2 in the past 5 years and it wasn't difficult. just have to be patient and don't put it to close to the road because a UPS driver will hit it lol
