this is a good blu-ray player for those still with older televisions as it supports composite outputs, which is hard to find on most blu-ray players.

i bought mine for $50 refurb from 1sale on
ebay
(or maybe it was daily steals; can't remember) and it was in perfect condition. i've used it for blu-ray, dvd, usb, netflix,
amazon
instant video, and youtube. i couldn't log into my youtube account (to access my playlist) and the search feature is tedious in any app because you have to use the number pad on the remote to enter the characters. i found it easier to add things to my netflix list on a computer or tablet and on the blu-ray player find them browsing the list.

beware, newer (legally owned) ripped dvd releases cause the video to stutter (i know it's not the usb drive, dvd media, codecs, or bitrate because similar h264/aac/mp4 files play just fine) which might be related to drm (watermark detection) in the latest firmware version (which came on my player). the player also claims to not be able to play some seemingly random h264/aac/mp4 files bought online (it's always the same files, but they appear no different than the others and play just fine on any computer with ffmpeg or mplayer).

overall a good buy and thinking about buying another one from frys.com for $45 refurb (free shipping; http://www.frys.com/product/7780208).
