Pretty good deal. Have a slightly different model, but I can't use mine without ear plugs because it is so loud.

The hose sucks, literally! Such a small diameter! It gets clogged a lot.

These vacuums are legit - they can even scoop up water(basement leaks, etc), unlike traditional vacuums. Definitely worth getting one while on sale.

These are really handy, everything from cat litter, water leaks, or cleaning out your car. Didn't think I'd use mine as much as I do.

These vacuums are great to have but will wear out quickly when sucking up drywall or concrete dust.

Follow up: easy assembly, works well, I was just surprised at the diameter of the hose. If it ever breaks it'll turn into a nice metal garbage can on wheels. I still dig it.

I use this one in a machine shop vacuuming up small aluminum chips off the cnc machine, works great.

yea... that 1 1/4 in. diameter hose is too small. Why would they put such a big motor with such small diameter hose is mind boggling. Although $40 is a great deal, I will end up buying bigger hose and then the hose attachments ... and it's just defeats the purpose - if this will take the bigger hose in the first place.
Big motor with small hose diameter... i could only imagine how loud this thing is going to be...

This is a good deal. I bought the near identical Rigid version of this last year at HD (Shop Vac is sold at Lowes vs Rigid at HD). Although a special model made just for sale during the holidays, more than adequate enough for a garage/shop vac.
