Actually, there are two others above the HD650. The HD700 and the HD800. That said, the HD650's are very good

Keep in mind they're 300 ohms so even if you could settle for the lower quality sound from some analog sources like your phone or computer, it won't get very loud with these unless you add a headamp with some gain... and who wouldn't if you're buying this class of cans?
