Because Ashford is not an authorized Seiko retailer, this is a gray market watch and the 5-year factory warranty does not apply. Only Seiko watches purchased at an authorized dealer carry the factory warranty.
I purchased mine from jomashop.com for $180.38 less than a year ago and it came with a 3-year warranty from the seller. I also had to wait a couple of months for it to be restocked as I didn't order it as soon as I first found it.
Therefore, this is a fantastic price! Search the internet...those who have one love it.
Post script: the "F" in "BFK only sometimes means "Freakin'"...you can probably guess what it usually means!
