At first I was thinking runs to the liquor store after your DWI, but then it occurred that with 3 wheels, there's 3 sites to mount electric hub motors and a basket to hold the battery pack for an eBike with a pretty good power to weight ratio once you factor in the weight of the rider.

... not that you'd want to do that, but you could.

3 wheelers are a bad idea. Can't avoid all sorts of obstacles like 2/4 wheelers.

^ Yeah but if you have 3 wheels don't those pesky 2 wheeled and 2 legged obstacles avoid you instead of the other way around?
