What is going on with AMD and Radeon? I hardly see them on sale any more. Their stock is down to $2. I don't know how much longer AMD will last. Very sad.

Hardly on sale... what do you call this?
While the stock isn't telling the actual health of where AMD is, it's more based from trepidation over the looming debt they've on the books that comes due in 2019. Overall they have little to no cash flow as they've used up what they had in R&D of coming products. They intend Artic Island GPU line-up due in mid-2016, then Zen FX CPU's by this time next year. But yes AMD has to make those count, or they're in for a tough slough if below mediocre, as Bulldozer. I think on GPU's ing mainstream and even the entry enthusiast. Artic Island will provide a strong footing against Nvidia and see them re-gaining some of the shrinking over-all graphics market.
At this point AMD has to shut-the-heck up, and stay the coure to release good products on schedule. Control the message, provide information that's fully vetted, and only as the release comes into view. Prevent death by... Forum Rumors. If they provide viable products that the proper price they can start to find profit. If they keep to only a few initiatives (the BoD had move all over spectrum through 2007-2013, they where pivoting every-which-way and lost focus) I think they can come back.
What AMD needs to grab is some OEM laptops/desktop business with the coming products... that's hard egg to crack. Intel has a stranglehold on those OEM's and prevents AMD from having any name presence in those spaces and that cascades down into all products. Although their APU in laptops make viable option, Intel has too much influence in grabbing OEM's with contacts that are intend to not permit AMD any footing.
The health of AMD is important to consumers and the health of the industry. Look at where Apple was when Steve Jobs was brought back and worked with Bill Gates... Today that's ancient history, and we can't imagine a world without Apple. Not that AMD can be a colossal player even if they can make it to 2019, but to fill a viable presence with the Intel/Nvidia squeeze will be a huge feat in and of its' self. It would take huge stumbles' of both Intels' and Nvidias' major product lines to have it really swing in AMD favor.

I agree that's it's better for the industry if AMD survives.
Thank you!
