Interesting can't have this level performance priced higher than the new Fiji so what this mean. Given a TitanX gives 20% less performance @4K than this 295X2, it might get interesting in 15 days.

Thinking 390X will come out at $600 and be faster than 295X2? That's impossible as the core are not that different.

Did I say $600...? That said if I had to put a number for a Fiji WCE it might be $700; dare go $750.

All I was saying is this "in round about way" points to new perf/$ matrix. Though a dual-chip like this (in a way) ensue artificially lower pricing, given the tribulations that SLI/CFX presents.

I asked that question 2 weeks ago back when the price rumor wasn't out yet.

Seems like for the remainder of the year AMD will fight GTX 980Ti/980/970 with 8GB version of 290X/280X and 285. Not looking good.

I don't understand why this card only has mini display ports and one DVI. The only way to have HDMI out it through some booty DVI to HDMI adapter. Makes no since. What am I missing here?

Not recalling such conversation and as it hasgotten extremely hard to research back posts here at Ben's, I'm not going to try.

As to what AMD will bring to the next round is, well... completely unknown. The rumors and disinformation is rampant. I don't know if it's the doom and gloom you're suggesting, and think it best to hold a couple of days till it's all been revealed.

At this Enthusiast level, most aren't worried about not having DVI, since it takes up so much room you lose out on the connectors that are more useful for multi-panel Eyefinity set-ups, which this was mostly intended. Guarantee if you're at that level, a adapter/converter is the least of your concerns. DVI-D is just a Legacy for the Enthusiast Gamer at this level.
