Run away from samsung TV's esp if they are the "smart" tv's i have only had my samsung TV for almost a year. first thing you will notice after about 3 months of owner ship. you will get a notice for features being ripped away. after about 6 months of owner ship so many features got ripped away. today you cant put the tv back in the same box the features listed on the box you will not have in a year's time they will take them all away.
Um wtf? Most of the features of the television are built into the TV (HDR, 4K, Quantum Dots) and Sammy isn't going to abandon their new Tizen interface any time soon. If your buying this TV purely for Smart features, you shouldn't be looking at this price point. Besides, almost all reviews point to this TV as best high end set available. Not sure what "st0mp" is talking about.
Yeah, Sammys are one of the best models to get though I still highly prefer a connected HTPC over TV smarts. On the other hand their GX-SM530CF, standalone smart box with cablecard/tuner features is nice to avoid paying the $10+ a month for the cable co.'s box providing you don't need the DVR or pay per view features.
