For the money its damn hard to beat. CPU is a lil' on the slow side but hardly bad, especially for the money. Gaming will be possible, it'll certainly be better than any i3-7 3xxx Core CPU for that. Just don't go expecting miracles. Keep your resolution and IQ as low as possible and decent (30fps+) should be possible in most games.

This iGPU also responds pretty well to faster RAM so if its in your budget, and the laptop will accept it, some DDR3 1600 or 1866 SODIMMs are worth getting.

Just bear in mind this laptop doesn't come with recovery media. Samsung won't sell you one either. You have to use a USB stick for their recovery software to work. You'll need one with decent capacity, like 32GB or so due to the size of the recovery software. Buy one of those cheap SD Micro flash cards and an adapter if you don't already have a USB flash drive lying around that you can use. Once you write the recovery software to the drive just put it in a safe place in case you get a hard drive crash or something.

Unfortunately that is pretty much required to do with many laptops these days. Especially the cheap ones.

I agree with above, except to add the usual "it depends" in response to the OP. This thing is cheap and a great deal, on paper. Keep in mind a few things. The display resolution is low and the device is heavy at 5lbs. You did not state many requirements, so these attributes may not be significant. I have also read about bad experiences with cowboom Their definition of "refurbished" might mean "beat to hell and dumped on some unsuspecting sucker". Do your research on the vendor.
