It is a good tablet, a bit hefty though. It has excellent battery life, and with a cheap frosted film screen protector the 1024x768 screen isn't bad for the size. We were using that resolution 20 years ago with 14 and 15 inch displays. Thus, it does look better on this than one might imagine. The frosted screen protector helps quite a bit for those who are picky. The S2 series also looks great with a frosted screen protector (see and for those products) but has a higher resolution of course. I've used one of these with the thin book cover case and it is very nice. The S2 is thinner and lighter though but costs at least twice as much.
This is an old version. I got the new 10.1 Tab A at on Cyber Monday for $170 - $20 gift card. They sent me another gift card for $50 because the tablet was incorrectly listed as having a stylus. Great deal and a very nice device.

I ordered that same one too and also got a $50 gift card but I didn't know that was for the false info in the ads... I just thought their system glitched hahaha... $100 for that tablet was a steal!!!
