Wow indeed, but then you also have to say "wow" to the price as well.
When 2X the capacity is nearly 4X the price, here $200/TB is the trend, vs this drive for $740, it takes a unique use case to make the numbers work. The $500 delta can buy a lot of external capacity. But the person that has just one bay (laptops) and wants the space with no need to move around or swap will buy this drive.
For not much more than this, I bought a RAID box with 12TB space (16TB drives RAID 5)
