Although this is still a good deal, you should be aware that this is NOT a true 4k player. It's a blu-ray player that upscales and can pass through streamed 4k content. It will be awhile before true UHD players are out there and they'll be a lot more.

Play 4K video?

As this is not a 4K video player, it cannot play any 4K videos. It can only play 1080p videos, and upscale these videos to 4k if desired.
