This should be standard equipment in every computer tech's tool bag. For $9 its a no brainer. Could also come in handy for non tech's when they want to upgrade their hard drive and transfer data/clone
Yeah, may not work with SATA/ATAPI-IDE optical drives but has worked with all IDE drives I've used it on. It's a bit flimsy so be careful plugging and unplugging and the included power adapter is junk, shouldn't be used for more than short term/temporary purposes.
Oh wait, this is the version that doesn't come with a power adapter... you can probably find same thing w/o the Sabrent branding on for less, tho' many may be shipping on the slow boat from China.
