If your still on NiCad this will make a huge improvement in performance. Constant power till they shut down. I made the switch a couple of years ago and have no regrets. Pretty sure this charger will also charge NiCads... Its soooo nice to not have batteries going dead while sitting idle and then wanting to use the tool only to find the batteries dead.
