Read somewhere that there size runs a little small, so when I ordered them for my 2 sons for X-mas I ordered them both a size up a lrg and xl I did try on the xl and it fit nice so yrah I would recommend a size larger then you wear. From my quick fitting of it I would say it's light weight and nicely warm as for my 2 sons they haven't taken them off since X-mas they love them.....
