Or you can purchase a slightly different, yet equally effective, grill brush at
Walmart
for ** cents (plus sales tax)...like I did about a week ago.

be careful with cheap grill brushes. If the brush starts losing bristles, they can get stuck to your food and get swallowed. Not fun having a sharp piece of metal in your digestive tract or throat.

^ I think the idea is that you keep brushing it till it is clean so there's no food to trap the bristles, then you rinse all that off. In all my years, including using steel wool which always has particles falling off, I've never had a trace of loose metal left behind.

^ sometimes it's dark outside and you might not see a bristle on your grill grates. then when you are slathering on that bbq sauce the bristle gets stuck to your piece of chicken - bon apetit!

I'm just saying it happens, so be careful if you are going to use a cheap brush.

**End of public service announcement.**

that being said, I have no idea about the brush in particular. I was more commenting in regards to the ** cent brush comment.

I've been using the brass-bristle grill brushes for about 17 years and never had an issue with them. In fact, the only time that I generally need to replace one is when I leave it laying around and one of the dogs chews on the hard plastic handle.

^ Yeah I don't see where you can go wrong with brass because if the grate is clean the bristles shouldn't stick to it... brass isn't attracted to magnets even if the grate happens to be magnetized for some reason.
