Nice to see it without a rebate this time, and shipping from a US warehouse so probably not the ~ 3 week wait for cheap alternatives coming from China.
I take no responsibility for your flashing a new firmware. I have ordered one but don't have one to test the firmware on yet. You might also need a new enough driver version and Win8 or newer to get UASP working.
Does anyone know for sure whether this comes with cables, AC power adapter etc?
They are pictured so I would assume so... but it's Tiger Direct, no returns-refunds at this point in their going out of business sale, unless terms override that.
The USB3 cable is standard, but the PSU it might come with is 2A @ 12V with what looks like a 3mm or smaller barrel adapter that isn't "as" common on a PSU of 2A capability.
Users have reported that they were able to get an SSD to run with only USB3 (not necessarily USB2 at lower current) power from the USB port, but it's not going to be able to power a 3.5" HDD without addt'l 12V power input.
^ I wouldn't necessarily call it too good to be true because you can get similar widgets like this direct from China for about the same price minus the "free" shipping, so it looked like they were just selling it at cost, but then the same stuff ends up costing ~ $1.50 more if already imported to the US so there's the US origin USPS shipping tacked on.
They refunded me this one, but not the other 3 items, all of which I submitted to as non-delivered/cancel a couple days ago, which also had a cancellation email sent several days ago.
EDIT: Just received refunds to Paypal for all outstanding items ordered, case closed for me.

This appears to be sold under multiple brands including Anker and Unitek. has over 1000 reviews for the Anker branded version FYI:

At least "some" of these have an older firmware that doesn't support UASP. If that's important to you then you can flash a newer firmware with that support. It is here:
