Everyone will be dumping RP2 for RP3 which will be the same price or better yet get a Pine64.

Depends on what you want to do with it. 11n wifi, bluetooth and 50% faster processor and video on RP3 are of value for some things, while wasted on others. Frankly for the things where RP3 seems an important upgrade, you'll probably still be left wanting more later, to upgrade again and again.

i've gotten 2 of these, great product i must say i love their packaging. Guess now that the ras 3 is out they lower the price. the only reason i would get the ras 3 is the 64bit.

I pre-ordered my Pi3 with the 16GB SD card for $50 from microsoftstore. It will come after 3/31. I ordered my heat sink and case for about $15 from
ebay.

Thanks for the feedback! I plan on using it as an emulator but think the flexibility of using for other stuff can come in handy.
