just implemented a new policy that prevents you from receiving a credit when they lower the price even if your item hasn't shipped yet. I'll be curious to see how that effects this "gimmick" sale.

So, if you were to purchase an item, which later gets reduced in price--you would not be eligible for credit?

Yep. I've had orders that sat for 7 days before they were shipped. They were in "Processing" status. always gave me back the difference because it hadn't shipped yet, but no more.
started to lose me this year. Only one order so far - way less than previous years. I got a RedCard which has free shipping, no minimum, plus 5% off. I'm buying more from them. But what really ticked me off is that there were several items I wanted that were only offered to Prime members. Sorry, . You've been good to me, but I'm not paying $100/yr for free (Prime) shipping.
And don't forget to check the price without logging in first. When I had Prime, I got caught in that trap as well. It appears they were factoring in the "free shipping" into the item by raising the price. Another reason why I cancelled my membership.
I posted this on another "deal". It is better here.
My last three experiences with have been terrible. I have decided to let my prime expire and shop elsewhere. I will buy at only as a last resort and price/delivery better be over the top. Take that Jeff Bezos!
Looked through most deals... they are not as good as I thought... Most of the good deals are on 's own label such as Echo, FireTV, Tablet, etc... Deals on TV are just same as local Best Buy and Frys.
