This is a great deal and it uses high-efficiency SUNPOWER panels (offering up to 22% efficiency) that can provide you 2A output at peak. I own one and very impressed at how well it resumes full power charging after the sun goes through clouds etc. I've never timed it charging an iPhone as my 6s draws to much power to efficiently charge it but it charges my 16000 mah anker powerbar roughly halfway in about 4 hrs in full sunlight. Cheers.
I don't know where canadu is getting his/her info because I don't see any mention of Sunpower panels and the description says 18.5% efficiency, which puts it somewhere in-between the current-gen high-efficiency panels and the last-gen. I'm guessing these are older panels or an older model and they're clearing out stock. Maybe canadu has the updated version of this product. Still, a very good price unless you are willing to pay for faster charging or smaller panels. I'm tempted but will hold off as I want to use it for backpacking and the size/weight matters more than the price for my use.
If the power grid failed, these would be handy to have to charge your phone. You'll really only need to charge the phone once because when there is no power, there won't be anyone to call and the last thing you'll care about it a cell phone.
